We care about our customers and work closely with them to ensure they know all of their options to provide the best fit for their budget. We are sure to understand what can and can not be done in a neighborhood based on HOA and Subdivision requirements.
We educate our customers and provide them samples of an assortment of roof tiles such as asphalt, cement and slate so they can have a hands-on-experience as they decide the best roofing material for their home. If a client lives near salt water it is essential that copper flashing is used to avoid the corrosive effect of the salt water. Many roofers do not take this extra step and aren't aware that they need to.
ONE REALLY BIG DIFFERENCE IS many contractors typically ask for 1/3 or more down. LaPorta only asks for between $500 to $1,000 for permit procedures, This is very important because it may take 2 to 3 weeks to get approval from the city and if there is an HOA approval process it may take a month. Also, if the owner picks a roofing material that has a long lead time roofit can be up to 3 months. NO CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE HOLDING 1/3 OF THE HOMEOWNERS MONEY. Also, if a contractor says they need it to buy the materials that means he has no credit and you don't want to work with a contractor that has no credit! We have AAA Credit and we do not have to pay for materials until they are delivered to the owner's building.
